The Story
Meet Kyasha Scott
Hi, my name is Kyasha Scott, and I am the founder of Another Royal Legacy.
My journey into sewing and design began with my own body insecurities and how clothing would fit me. I often struggled to find garments that complemented my body shape and helped me feel confident. That experience sparked a desire to learn alterations and understand how clothing could be tailored to celebrate me, rather than hide me.
When I got to Kansas City, I pursued training through The Sewing Labs and continued my education in pattern making and draping under Pamela Lucas - House of Pamela Renée. Through these experiences, I developed my skills in garment construction, couture techniques, and custom design.
Over time, my work took on an even deeper meaning after experiencing the loss of my niece and cousin. Walking through grief gave me a greater appreciation for the memories we hold onto and the meaningful things that remind us of the people we love. It inspired me to use my gift of sewing not only to create, but to help preserve those memories in a tangible and heartfelt way.
From that place, Another Royal Legacy grew into a way for me to combine creativity, faith, healing, and purpose. Through memory bears, custom keepsakes, royal apparel, I create pieces that honor a loved one and moments that shape our lives and allow their stories to be carried forward.
